Why was I disqualified from a survey?

Updated over a month ago

Survey providers look for participants who meet specific criteria; disqualification can occur, and it's entirely up to the survey provider. Don't worry–it's common and part of the process!

Reasons you might not qualify

  • The survey participant quota was already filled. (It happens–your timing was just a bit off!)

  • Your responses didn't align with the details in your profile.

  • You completed the survey too quickly or took longer than expected.

  • Didn't respond accurately to quality questions designed for attention checks, profile matching, consistent responses, etc.

  • Gave incomplete or nonsense answers to open-ended questions.

Improve your chances of qualifying

  • Take your time and answer each question thoughtfully.

  • Be consistent with your responses–you may see the same question multiple times.

  • Answer honestly and in line with your profile.

  • Provide meaningful, accurate answers.

If you're disqualified, simply try another survey.

Remember, surveys are designed and run by survey providers. We do not control your qualification for a survey or your experience with it. However, if you encounter issues while taking a survey, we're happy to help. For more information, see Surveys or contact Support.
